The Peninsula – Plot Z was, by design, a challenging build. Two factors defined the project from the outset: a highly constrained site with limited working area, and an accelerated construction programme that left little room for delay. For a façade contractor, this combination raises the stakes considerably — every panel, frame, and unit of glazing has to be sequenced, delivered, and installed with precision, in a footprint where space for staging, storage, and access is at a premium. PMI's installation programme was closely aligned with the project's broader adoption of modular construction methods across the site. By working within this modular approach, PMI was able to support faster, more accurate on-site assembly of aluminum and glazing components, reducing the amount of work — and the associated congestion — that had to happen within the constrained site itself.
